110 km north-west of Jyväskylä, L. Pääpohja 60 m (length 3.5 km, width 800 m), shallow dredged, sanded swimming shore, further out mud bottom, own boat. Brick-clad building 1984, renovated 2009, kitchen, living room 2 extra sleeping places, bedroom double bed, bedroom bed and convertible sofa/double bed, washroom (shower cabinet), sauna (electric), hall, vestibule, glazed porch and heated garage. Building has mechanical ventilation.In the spring of 2012 completed a new sauna. The sauna is easy to use even in winter, as it has under floor heating and the water comes from a well pump. The sauna has a living room with fireplace and a loft, which can accommodate 3-4 persons. Cottage on level plot surrounded by fields: plot has garden and lawn. Between shore and cottage a road, lake well stocked with fish, “katiska” fish trap and rod and line included in rent. Strawberries and berries on plot can be picked and eaten. Caretaker sells fishing licences. Each year lake trout are stocked in Lake Pääpohja; nearby Lake Lahnajärvi has good zander stocks. Sights include Kilpisuo Nature Reserve 6 km, Wanhat Wehkeet Automobile Museum and restaurant 20 km, Piispala Youth Centre (camp school, etc) 23 km, Paletti shopping centre 17 km.
