Holiday cottage in the Erz Mountains as an ideal basis for excursions into the region

Sehmatal is a municipality in the Erz Mountain district of the Free State of Saxony. The neighborhood of Cranzahl is not far from the district town of Annaberg-Buchholz and the spa town of Oberwiesenthal. The traditional holiday resort is surrounded by the largest continual forested area in the Erz Mountains, which is only marked by hiking paths and forest roads. The municipality is an ideal basis for hiking, cycling and ski tours in the Fichtelberg and Natural Park areas. There are also numerous outdoor swimming pools and two adventure pools in the vicinity. In winter, the Erz Mountains invite you to experience numerous Alpine and Nordic skiing options. There are ski areas in Oberwiesenthal for example, as well as on the Czech side.At the edge of the village in a quiet and sunny position, you will find this beautiful holiday home which you have all to yourself. The house has a cozy terrace with garden furniture. You may also used the garden with its grill, swing and sandbox. The residence is located on the first floor and is accessible via an exterior staircase, while the ground floor is used as a storage room by the landlord. Favourite excursion destinations: St. Annenkirche in Annaberg, various mine tunnels, Dresden with its Church of Our Lady (ca. 120Km), Karlsbad (ca. 40km) and Prague (ca. 150km).
