« Fantastic View »

My husband and I and another couple stayed in this beautiful apartment for 9 days and really loved it. The view is amazing and the apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and the furniture was up to date and very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable also. The only downside was there was no washer/dryer so we would have liked to have had a towel change mid week but we managed. You can pay extra for this option but we chose not to. We took some beautiful photos off the very large balcony that were amazing. A bit of road noise in the morning starting about 7:30 AM with the windows open at night since there is some construction going on but we used it as our alarm clock. Nice location if you are traveling around Burmese Overland. Trains run frequently to get you to all areas and you are still up in the mountains in a small village. Several restaurants to choose from but not as many outdoor cafés as we would have liked but good Swiss food available within walking distance of apartment. Not a bad walk (5 min.) from the train station, just a little uphill on the way back but taxis are available if you need them. Considering the view, it is totally worth it and I would recommend the Bella Vista to all my friends.
