This charming holiday home is located just 10 meters from the shores of Lake Maggiore on Isola Superiore Pescatori. Comprising three delightful flats with stunning lake views, the property is tastefully furnished, featuring some period furniture. The house is just 0.5 km from the town center, where you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants.Isola Superiore Pescatori is the only permanently inhabited island in the Borromean Islands archipelago. It is 350 meters long and 100 meters wide, with a small village, narrow alleys, a lakefront, and a main street. The island has 50 residents who make a living from fishing and tourism. With a history of at least 700 years, the island offers a tree-lined belvedere, local handicrafts for sale, and several quaint restaurants specializing in fish dishes. There are small beaches on both sides of the island, ideal for relaxation.Cars are not allowed on the island; they must be parked in public or private car parks in Stresa or Baveno, where you can take a public boat or taxi-boat to the island. The friendly owner can also arrange motorboat transfers for a small fee (starting at €10).Though on a small island, the flat provides excellent WiFi, keeping you connected to the outside world while you enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Maggiore, its islands, villas, gardens, and picturesque villages.

L’ISOLA SUPERIORE DEI PESCATORI - It owes its name to the activity of its inhabitants and certainly has the most character dor all the Borromeo islands on Lake Maggiore. It is approximately 300 meters of land in the middle of the lake, spectacularly framed by the Alps.The fascination of this island lies in the traditional simplicity and rustic candour of its houses. In the narrow alleys you will find restaurants, providing local fish from the lake, bars kiosks and small shops.The Island is connect to Stresa (3 stops) and Baveno (1 stop) by a regular public boat service available until h. 7.00 pm (www.navlaghi.it) or water-taxi. Upon prior request, the kind owner will also organise transfers to and from the island by motor boat. Mottarone is equipped for winter sports. With them you can fix time and place for the pick-up to take you directly in front of the apartment.
