General: Chaletpark Holiday is in a fantastic spot, centrally located in North Holland. You can expect a wonderful stay here at any time of year, and it offers something for every type of holiday. The holiday park is located directly on the De Leijen recreational and fishing lake. You will find wonderful, sheltered sandy beaches at various spots round the lake, and the area's hiking and biking trails are well worth exploring. Dogs are not allowed on or around the beaches. You can also use the park's tennis court and football pitch free of charge. Younger guests will enjoy the playground with its sturdy play structures. You can get a tasty snack from the snack bar during the high season.The province of North Holland has a lot to offer and Chaletpark Holiday gives you the opportunity to experience it all. There is plenty for the kids to do as well: in Enkhuizen (about 37 km) for example you will find the nice Zuiderzee Museum, where they can learn to write like in 1930, play old Dutch games and make their own skipping rope from plants. The Sprookjeswonderland fairy-tale theme park is also located close by. Landgoed Hoenderdaell animal park is also a great destination for a daytrip.
